| The North American Chapter of CETAA is organizing an alumni meet in New Jersey mainly for giving alumni in
the East Coast an opportunity to get to know and see each other. More Details can be found in this evite invitation.
This meeting is mainly targeted at alumni who resides within 3-4 hr driving distance of New Jersey.
If you know any other CET alumni who live around or who happen to be around, feel free to invite them for the meet.

| For the last several months I must have spent hundreds of hours trying to reach out to the Alumni community to spread the word about CETAFI.net. It is sad but the truth is that it is a very difficult task. I am not blaming anybody but the fact of the matter is that CETians generally end up in very good positions in their respective Career paths. Very good - by itself would mean that they barely get enough time to handle their personal mails let even spare time for networking. However most people are more than happy to help the effort of others in any way they can. Willingness to help alone does not help in any way to build an alumni network. There should be people willing enough to help and have enough time to spare for the effort. Read More...

This award is for the entire college of engineering in his university, among all the Engineering departments. Such an award in a major research university is an impressive achievement specially since it is based on the last three years of excellent teaching history and recommendation letters from students and from other professors. A Tale of 100 e-groups |

When I set out to find a few yahoo groups run by CETians I had no idea as to how many groups would be out there. The Internet was popularized in the last 7 – 8 years; so I was not expecting more than 30-40 groups and I stopped my search when I found 100 groups in yahoo alone. Come to think of it, there could very well be another 100 groups out there in maybe google-groups and what not. This article deals with some interesting facts about these groups.Read More...
